UNS S32750

2507 Duplex is the most popular of the nitrogen-strengthened duplex alloys. It has corrosion resistance equivalent to the 6% molybdenum alloys, such as AL6XN®. The minimum pitting resistance number for this material is 42. Depending on the source, a minimum pitting resistance number of 32 to 40 is required for service in seawater. Compared to 316L Stainless, it can range from 2 to 3 times as strong.
