Nickel 200
UNS N02200
Nickel 200 is commercially pure nickel. Nickel 201 (UNS N02201) is the low carbon, .02 max, version. Often, a heat lot is certified to both. Nickel 200 is magnetic except at extremely elevated temperatures. It is resistant to most acids and is used in the production of caustics. Nickel 200 is used in the food processing industry.
